Brian Ten Eyck

Brian Ten Eyck, is the assistant vice president for strategic initiatives at the University of Arizona Health Sciences (UAHS).
Ten Eyck works with UAHS leadership, along with external stakeholders, to advance the health sciences’ strategic agenda and priorities, including a new Primary Care Scholarship program, new programs in Health Professions and opportunities for continued growth in Phoenix.
Prior to his appointment, Ten Eyck was chief of staff at the UA Office of the Provost, where he led planning teams for two new research buildings, oversaw a task force that added process and transparency to the Provost Strategic Initiative Fund, and helped facilitate the merger of the Offices of Student and Academic Affairs.
Ten Eyck also served in the College of Engineering from 2005 to 2018, where he held various leadership roles in research development and support, helping to build capabilities and expand the reach of UA research. Before his arrival at the UA, Brian worked for the Greater Tucson Economic Council and spent a decade as a market research analyst and business strategy consultant.
He received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. In 2011, while helping to lead research development in the College of Engineering, he completed a master’s degree in linguistics at the University of Arizona.
